Teacher Woo Myung's Book Review : Nature’s Flow
Updated: Mar 10
One of my acquaintances introduced me to a book entitled Nature’s Flow by Woo Myung. I immediately purchased it through Amazon and read it. I’ve always liked nature and have longed for a natural life, so I was instinctively drawn to the title Nature’s Flow.
This book is a collection of poems written by Woo Myung after he achieved his lifelong search for the enlightenment of the one mind.
By simply reading Nature’s Flow, one will experience a calmness and will sense their mind becoming as comfortable as nature itself.
This was for the first time I’ve felt comfortable, even though I have not achieved the enlightenment of “Oneness” with the world. I love this book so much that I read it during breaks while I am working and if I have trouble getting to sleep. The power of his words are amazing. I’ve experienced Woo Myung’s thoughts and the depth of his enlightenment through these writings.
I think this book is best suited for calming a person’s mind. There are times when everyone is tired and struggling with daily life. It is then that you will be tempted to rest in nature. I recommend that you buy this book and read it often. I asked my co-worker to buy one and read it and that friend also had the same experience as I did. He also said that reading it made him comfortable and he was able to put down his burdens and attachments in his mind a little bit more.
I really like this book and I want to buy other books Woo Myung has written. Even though my daily life is stressful, I cannot take the time to meditate or gain enlightenment. However, I think nothing is better than his message. There is so much comfort in just reading the poems of a truly enlightened person and letting go my everyday weary mind. I am very satisfied with this book and would recommend it to anyone. The content is also easy to read and not very complicated, so it seems like a good thing.
